DIGITAL ASSET MANAGEMENT SERVICES
Our suite of integrated services can assist you in following a tapeless workflow in all aspects of post production. Start with our digitizing your HD or SD shoot tapes (any format) to a fire wire hard drive using our Video Dailies service. Most often this is done at DV25 resolution for doing the offline edits but we can also give you uncompressed 1080i 10bit files. Simultaneously, we can make you a timecode stamped DVD window dub or streaming media file to aid in your logging and transcribing step. Or you can nearly instantaneously retrieve your streaming media file electronically from our FTP site. For back up purposes, and to protect you from your editing system crashing, we'll store a safety copy of your digitized files on our 4 Terabyte raid array. And, after you have completed your off-line, give us your EDL and we will re-digitize your selects at your desired resolution and deliver to you an on-line rough cut, that is ready for finishing. This deliverable can include a mixture of tapes in any HD or SD format, digital files, DVD's even including subtitling streams in many languages. Along the way we can convert video shot at 24p to 30 frames per second for broadcast, or 1080i files to 720p and of course we can make you letterboxed or anamorphic SD video and provide broadcast quality standards conversion between NTSC and PAL as well as up/down and cross conversion between the various HD tape formats.
Professional Format and Mass Duplication.
Our professionally maintained and calibrated tape room includes most tape formats, several broadcast quality SD standards converters and HD up/down and cross converters. It is engineered to deliver the highest quality dub, or clone with matching time code, allowed for each tape format, be that SDI for the digital formats or component for the analog ones. Our routine quality control steps include the use of new tape stock only, having our VTR's calibrated to manufacturer's specifications and our staff evaluating every incoming element before running the duplicates ordered. Masters duplicated are checked at the tip, tail and middle and DVD's and CD's are electronically checked bit by bit during duplication.
