Ms. Elizabeth Sweeney managing partner at global video services started in film lab of cinema processors in 1980 quickly learning film was not her passion she moved to the audio department and for the next decade grew the department to be the number one duplicator of broadcast audio tapes for the largest distributors of broadcast tapes in the city of Chicago. With the experience of the audio department the company promoted her quickly to the video tape department where there she multiplied sales of broadcast tapes well into the 2.5 million. At the same time managed a successful VHS department billing over a million dollars. Cinema video was sold to network century in 1996 over the next five years she managed and tripled the DVD’s duplication business. In 2003 Mr. Marton of Global Video LLC offered Liz a sales position. In this time, she helped Mr. Marton to launch a new digitizing and archival of video tape services. In 2010 she purchased the company from Mr. Marton, from there the focus has been on digitizing, closed captioning, file conversion and archiving video tape libraries for various corporations, universities, music bands and directors.
Steve has been in the video broadcast industry for over 30 years. He has worked with many of his colleagues in the business to promote and establish standards for the industry. Working for cinema video center as chief engineer and then director of engineering, he built a complete broadcast duplication department, video editing facility, audio recording studio as well as a Broadcast satellite distribution department. He implemented operating procedures as well as built from scratch many of the systems to enable turnkey operation. He has also worked with many other companies including hi-tide media and Tele-Tech video. After cinema video was purchased by network century, Steve joined the new technology department managing and developing new media applications. He developed unique data acquisition applications for fortune 500 companies. After network century was sold, Steve went back to work with his old colleague, and friend, Liz Sweeney as director of engineering. He has developed procedures and workflows for the broadcast and archiving departments as well as created new developments for the company.
Joseph has been with global video services under George Marton since 2008 and with Liz Sweeney since 2010. A background in photography and web design as well the creator of short films which appeared in the Chicago film festival Movieside, the Peter Jones gallery and Capricon 26.
